JAVA DEVELOPER
Our client, a leading communications provider in Malta, are looking for experienced JAVA software developers to join the company's core development team as it embarks on several exciting long-term projects
Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, implementation, customisation and testing of Microsoft Dynamics NAV Solutions
• Work within a team of software professionals

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience in software development particularly in open source and JAVA environments
• A good grasp of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript & JQuery
• Would be considered an asset to have experience in object-oriented programming and SQL server technologies
• Experience in other Enterprise Resource Planning and Financial Management applications will also be considered.
• Preference will be give to candidates with a relevant University degree and/or Microsoft Certifications.
• Database concepts – good knowledge of databases (transactions, isolation levels, query optimization etc) and SQL

• Solve real-world business problems by assisting in the design of OLAP cubes.
• Write relational and multidimensional queries, whilst creating and deploying reports.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or related recognised degree.
